A YOUNG mum who faced being forced to return to her native New Zealand, leaving her family behind in Beverley, has won her battle to be allowed to stay.
Carla Bedford (24), her partner Phil Wilson and their eight-month-old baby, Dylan, are celebrating after Carla finally received a visa which will allow her to stay in the UK.
As reported in the Beverley Guardian, she had previously been told by immigration officials that she must return to live in New Zealand because of a mix-up over her visa.
