A Fairleigh Dickinson University official said Thursday that talks with the New York Giants about hosting their summer training camp are still in the early stages.
In addition, the Giants confirmed Thursday that a second New Jersey school, Monmouth College, also is interested in replacing the University at Albany as the Giants' summer home.
The NFL team's five-year lease with UAlbany expires after this summer. The Giants are considering moving their training camp closer to their East Rutherford, N.J., base in 2001.
