Fed: Rudd to Brumby: hospitals need money and reform

Prime Minister KEVIN RUDD says hospitals will have the same old problems .. if the
premiers don't agree to his health reforms.

Victorian Premier JOHN BRUMBY is resisting the federal government's plan .. and is
expected to outline his reasons at the National Press Club later today.

Mr RUDD's told central Queensland radio station 4RO .. Mr BRUMBY should know money
alone won't fix the health system .. and without reforms .. it'll be business as usual.

The prime minister will visit Gosford Hospital on the New South Wales Central Coast today.
